The applicant devotes herself to the research on corrosion inhibiting mechanisms of metal and rebar in marine invironment, functionalized coating and self-healing organic coatings for reinforced concrete structures, with obtaining great achievements.
Nowadays, there have been 146 academic papers published, of which 58 articles were selectively cited by SCI and 21 articles were cited for 402 times totally. Meanwhile, 22 articles were abstracted by EI and 34 ones by CSCD. Representative research findings were highly evaluated by international authoritative magazine editors and peers reviews, and announced as specially invited academic reports for many times on international conferences with great attention, Furthermore, the application has published two books as well as 14 authorized invention patents. Specifically, 5 achievements in scientific and technological research attained the international advanced level evaluated by the experts. The transferring and practicing of theoretical achievements has been awarded and created economic benefits of 26 million Yuan for the enterprises, indirectly avoided and saved about 120 million Yuan corrosion losses. Yet several science and technology awards are deserved to be remarkable including the Oceanic administration second prize of ocean engineering and the Shandong province scientific and technological progress second prize. As a main drafter, the applicant also compiled 6 industry standards of the construction ministry and transportation ministry, both implemented in 2012.
In addition, the applicant has been responsible and accomplished 18 national and provincial projects as a leading researcher. Awarded by the special fund granted to the outstanding female scientists in Chinese academy of sciences in 2010, the applicant has been engaged as a senior visiting scholar to attend the academic communication with Germany's technical university of Munich and RWTH Aachen University.

2.      Mechanism Study of corrosion inhibitors for steel reinforcement
3.      Evaluation of multiple corrosion protection systems for reinforced concrete
4.      Self-healing coating for reinforced concrete structures.
