Brief Curriculum Vitae

Balqis Binti Md Yunus was graduated her bachelor degree from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia and was involved in internship program at KAIST, Daejeon, South Korea during her final semester of M.Sc. program. Following this, she served at UiTM for more than 4 years and actively involved in research work related to structure and construction materials. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at TU Delft. Her research is focus on self-healing concrete under the influence of chloride and carbonation environments with compressive load-induced cracks and pre-defined crack..

Research interests related to the TDC

Concrete durability, Combined loads, chloride ingress, mechanical load-induced damage
